Stile was established in 1965, driven by a deep passion for lumber. The Onofri and Colcelli families, who founded Stile, have long been involved in the lumber industry, working in the lush hills of the Umbrian Tuscan mountains.

Initially, they supplied firewood in the late 19th century and later transitioned to manufacturing railroad sleepers until the mid-20th century. The mid-sixties marked a pivotal moment when they began producing mosaic wood floors, leading to the creation of S.Ti.Le Società Tiberina Legnami, now known as Stile Pavimenti Legno Spa.

Today, Stile is recognized both in Italy and globally for its quality and elegance. The company’s commitment to incorporating advanced technology and their expertise in selecting premium wood species from around the world has solidified their position as a leading brand in the wood flooring market.

Since 2010, Stile’s technical partnership with BONA, a Swedish leader in wood floor finishes, has elevated the company to an international level, making it a prominent ambassador of Italian craftsmanship in the world of parquet flooring.
